From Spelling Bee champion To Dr: Darren Sackey’s story is fit for a series on Netflix

The story of the boy wonder, Darren Sackey,  the spelling whiz keeps on getting better and better. 

Since his outstanding performance at the Spelling Bee Competition here in Ghana where he placed first, the young Darren Sackey went on to represent Ghana in the United States of America at the Scripps National Spelling Bee competition. 

Subsequently, Darren gained admission to study General Science at the Achimota School after completing his spelling bee tour. 

He then  joined the Debates Team as well as the Science and Maths club. 

He subsequently applied for and received admission to the University of Ghana Medical School for a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery, MBBS. 

He began the program in 2014 and is now , Dr. Darren Sackey, after successfully completing his studies. 

Dr Sackey volunteers with the Foundation for Young Educators and is also the President of the Presbyterian Health Fellowship (PHF). 

Many congratulations to Dr Sackey.
