President John Mahama’s inauguration look was a breathtaking ode to tradition and leadership. Draped in a custom Kente cloth by Bondana, every thread of his attire told a story.

The cloth, aptly named ‘Ɛmmerɛ pa da w’anim’ (Better days await you), was adorned with powerful Adinkra symbols:

  • Nyame Dua (Tree of God): A divine reminder of God’s protection.
  • Gye Nyame (God’s Omnipotence): An emblem of unwavering faith.
  • Sankofa (Learn from the Past): A call to draw wisdom from history.
  • Dwennimmen (Humility and Strength): A leader’s balance between power and grace.
