Sarkodie is tapping into his Ghanaian roots with these birthday photos

This is Micheal Owusu Addo popularly known across the world as Sarkodie.

Known for his catchy rap phrases and punch lines that have sparked social conversations and controversies, King Sark has cemented his name as the most successful music act from Ghana since Osibisa took the world a few decades ago.

The multiple-award winner was born on July 10, 1985 which makes today his 34th birthday. As with the social norm of today, Sarkodie has released images to celebrate his birthday and to the surprise of many, he decided to tap into his African roots for the shoot.

King Sark for his first look dabbled in a two-piece wax print suit, beads and a leather shoe. The second set of photos had him in a smock inspired outfit that combine the native agbada and a suit.

Shot by Amazing Klef, the Adonai singer worked with several young Ghanaian talents both home and abroad to create the looks and also serves as an subtle yet intentional marketing strategy for the brands involved.

As an influencer, these looks have the tendency of becoming a trend in the coming months and guess who will be walking to the bank??

Happy Birthday King Sark!!!!
