Portia Arthur is the lifestyle journalist who is redefining African prints fashion

Lifestyle Journalist, Children’s book author, Vivacious mother of two and African print style influencer, Portia Arthur is the new “IT” girl on the block and our eyes are firmly glued to her style.

Portia is the lifestyle editor at pulse.com.gh writing on fashion, food, relationship and living from Africa. But that doesn’t mean she can’t veer away from the rather conservative dressing rules that exists in the newsroom from time to time. Journalists are required to look professional and not slay queens but who cares about these rules if you are the best-dressed.

These days she’s putting her money where her mouth as she dabbles in African print style and showing every girl how to look gorgeous without breaking the bank.

In her recent post on social media, she’s wearing a silk and wax print dress from Meg Signatures. The dress has an interesting draping at the bust area and the back giving it a sophisticated appearance.

Portia paired the sheath dress with beaded earrings, bracelets and nude pump heels with studs. For her hair and makeup she went for a sublime makeup look which adds a different touch to her look.
