Stormzy goes on the cover of GQ magazine for the 3rd time

Award-winning Ghanaian Brittish Rapper and Grime artist, Michael Ebenazer Kwadjo Omari Owuo Jr, known professionally as Stormzy is the March 2020 Cover star for men’s magazine, GQ.

On the cover, he’s pictured wearing a pastel green trench coat over grey pants and his signature white t-shirt. The 2020 cover is the Ghanaian’s 3rd cover for GQ and documents his current successes including a scholarship fund for underprivileged students, a critical voice for the left-wing and a world tour.

The magazine wrote opens the feature article with the following words:

“Last summer, Glastonbury gave music’s greatest platform to one man and he, in turn, gave it to the community who led him there. From faith and South London to scholarships, left-wing leadership and a 58-date global arena tour starting this month, Stormzy’s voice sells millions, but it belongs to millions more”

“BEING THIS BLACK AND THIS DARK AND FROM SOUTH LONDON, MY PEOPLE HAVE ALWAYS CHAMPIONED ME,” Stormzy acknowledged.
