Dentaa, Kevin-Prince Boateng, Stormzy and other Ghanaians made it into the 100 Most Influential People of African descent

Congratulations are in order for Ghanaians, Dentaa, Kevin-Prince Boateng, Stormzy, Chief Nduom and Mr. Eazi for making MIPAD’s 2019 class of Global influential people of African descent.

Promulgated by a United Nation’s General Assembly resolution 68/237, the MIPAD is an initiative supporting that identifies high achievers of African descent in public and private sectors from all around the world.

Ghanaian and Barcelona footballer, Kevin-Prince Boateng is mentioned in this year’s list alongside GUBA Enterprise founder; Dentaa, Global music superstar, Micheal “Stormyz” Owuo Jr, Chief Nduom and chat topping artist, Mr Eazi. Others include Akua Gyekye, Eugin Arhin, Juliet Ibrahim and many others.

These Ghanaian men and woman who are under 40 joined the ranks of John Legend, The Weekend, Asa, Tifanny Haddish, Uche Pedro and Nomzamo Mbatha in the Class of 2019. They were selected from the world of Politics & Governance, Business & Entrepreneurship, Media & Culture and Religious & Humanitarian.

“It is with great honour we begin to unveil the 2019 Most Influential People of African Descent (MIPAD) global 100 list to recognize the positive contributions made by people of African descent, worldwide, across four categories, starting with the release of POLITICS & GOVERNANCE category. it said in a statement on their website.

A Diasporan Recognition Week in honour of the ‘MIPAD Class of 2019’, it revealed, is slated for September 2019 in New York City after the opening of the 74th UN General Assembly.
