When Ghanaian President John Dramani Mahama stepped out in his now-iconic inauguration attire, it wasn’t just a fashion moment—it was a cultural statement.

Behind the perfectly tailored ensemble that has captured the hearts of Ghanaians and Africans alike is Matthew Agambire, the creative genius and founder of Bondaana Clothing.

In an interview with Edward Asaree, Agambire revealed that his journey with President Mahama began with a test outfit he designed two years ago. “He loved it,” Agambire recalls.

The rest is history. President Mahama even attended the launch of Bondaana’s fashion office, cementing their collaboration.

Agambire’s designs focus on clean lines and classic tailoring that exude authority and elegance. Think structured blazers and perfectly fitted trousers.

Add African Flair

Incorporate rich, traditional fabrics into your wardrobe. Bondaana seamlessly blends African heritage with contemporary luxury.

Choose Bold, Yet Refined Colors

Mahama’s inauguration outfit featured white, black and a colourful mixture of kente that made a statement without overpowering the moment. Opt for colours like black, navy, burgundy, or even emerald green.
