St. Peter’s Senior High School, or PERSCO as it is popularly known is a Roman Catholic boys’ senior high school in the Eastern Region of Ghana.

The school was established in 1957 and has grown to be one of the best schools in the country over the years. Its motto is Dignitati Hominum, a Latin phrase which means (For the Dignity of Mankind)

Apart from their prowess in Science and Maths as shown by their consistency in the National Science and Maths Quiz every year, they are also known for their palm plantations which provide oil and other produce for the school and sometimes for outsiders.

A crocodile pond in the school serves as a tourist attraction site for many first time visitors; most visitors visit the crocodile enclosure first before undertaking other businesses at the school premises. The school’s wildlife club takes care of the beloved crocodiles.
