Ghanaians disregard Covid-19 protocols amidst spike in numbers.

The ordinary Ghanaian seems to be unconcerned about the virus or the fact that the number of victims are rising.

Many are of the view that the virus isn’t real or it has already been conquered since most of the restrictions have been lifted.

Disregard for COVID-19 protocols

Since the vaccines are not available in Ghana to protect us against this family of viruses yet, it was directed that we reduce risk of infection by washing our hands with, covering our mouths and noses when we cough or sneeze, disinfecting the objects and surfaces we touch, avoiding crowds and staying home when we don’t feel well.

Its quite unfortunate that the average Ghanaian doesn’t treat the virus with the attention it demands in spite of the fact that the number of victims are rising.

This behavior has raised concerns whether we doubt it’s existence amidst all the clear signs that it does exist or we just do not care.
