Renowned Ghanaian Photographer, Bob Pixel Passes On

Ghanaian photographer, Emmanuel Bobbie @bobpixel has passed on from COVID-19 related illness. Doctors confirmed his death on the late afternoon of Thursday February 25, 2021.

Emmanuel Bobbie commonly known as Bob Pixel was a Ghanaian photographer who specialized in commercial/documentary photography and advertisement. He is well known for how much of a story his photos tell.

Emmanuel died after a transfer from the Nyaho Medical Centre to the 37 Military Hospital. Nana K. Duah, a close friend of his, confirmed the news shortly after his passing away.

His life’s work

Bob was a hero and a mentor to many young photographers. He helped inspire the generation of creatives with his approach to life, business and family.

Bob Pixels has worked with the likes of Yvonne Nelson, M.anifest, John Dumelo, Jackie Appiah and many other renowned celebrities.

The phenomenal photographer captured Ghanaian culture and national life with a deep sense of patriotism and rawness.

Family

Emmanuel Bobbie leaves behind three children, two boys and a girl.
